Eco Boutique are a small fashion retailer based in Hessle, East Yorkshire specialising in the collection and sale of Vintage and high street clothing. As a new start-up business Eco Boutique wanted to use the web to promote their products, increase customer awareness and generate online sales.

We were approached to provide a solution that would specifically address the following key areas:

• Implementation of a shopping cart facility
• Integrate sales transactions with payment service provider PayPal
• Engineer a CMS that would allow the clients to update their stock on a daily basis
• Provide search functionality to allow visitors to find a particular product quickly

Oh, and this, along with the other areas of the website had to be completed within 3 weeks! With possibly the tightest deadline we have ever had to work to and meet we managed to provide a complete solution consisting of a website and a bespoke CMS which offered, amongst others, the following key features:

• Allowing user’s to submit their own clothes for sale online
• Bespoke CMS for management of all website content
• Compliance with accessibility requirements through keyboard navigation and resizable text
• PayPal integrated shopping cart
• Allowing Eco Boutique to update their stock ranges; allocating products by type, brand & categories
